It would seem within our nation there are many who are unwilling to be what our Forefathers fought for us to be. They proclaim other nationalities along with being Americans. Perhaps it is do to they do not hold the same pride in being an American as the forefathers of this nation did. Or they are too wrapped up in the past a past that may not have been as it should have been perhaps. Could be the teachings of creed and birth as well as the failure to learn the Lord's prayer.

If it is the past has brought this they need to learn the past is just that and part of the history that has made this nation what it is. One nation under God indivisible with Liberty and just for all.

It is because of that phrase alone that great steps were taken and we can and should be referring to ourselves as We The People of the United States Of America are proud to known as what we truly are Americans. For as we declare ourselves as Americans there is no other nationality or title needed to tell the world we are making every effort to become One Nation Under God.

With that I say to you and all who come after this date Heed these words as they are of the truth.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

It is much the same when declaring titles of nationality. You are either one or the other. Ever since the Revolutionary War we have been known as Americans and no other title was ever used. let us again become known as American of all races, creeds, and birth.

In the world today it would seem there are or is two words being used far too frequently. They are the words Hurry and Rush with hurry being most often said stimulating the action the word rush means. To those who insist on hurrying and thus being in a rush I would like to them this set of thoughts. Haste makes waste. Fools rush in. Therefore to Hurry or rush through your day is to be acting upon the ideals of a fool. Slow down think then do and learn to know what you have quickly rushed past.

Once the car came into being our worlds began to speed up. Then came the speed limits an effort to bring us to a speed of commonsense and safety. Still in spite of this many seem unwilling to utilize these limits that have been place upon them as they usually and loudly proclaim. It is just the same in our daily lives as many are unwilling to return to a slower and more thought out life style. Life styles willing to accept that by going through life as fast as many of us do. We truly are missing out on some of the best things life has to show us. Things we fail to see in our hurry, hurry world. We see the flowers along side of the road but never truly take in their beauty. We sense the freshness in the air in the morning and after a gentle rain but fail to truly breath it in. We hear the birds as they sing their songs but care not to enjoy their brilliant colors. We watch the sky but not for the shapes in the clouds but only to see if there is a storm on the horizon and then we quickly move on ignoring the rest of the world unless it steps into our paths much as the speed limit signs do along the highway. It is only then with those irritating reminders that we slow down for a little while but truly we still do not see, and hear what we should. So it is that I say slow down and live life in such a fashion that you learn once more of the beauties that life has to offer should you take the time to look for them and then enjoy them. Life can be just as they are simple if you are willing to let be as such.

It has been my stance for many years that we are returning to the weather of my yesteryear . Years in which we had a great deal of snow storms years where the piles were very much as those of this year. If in deed the Earth was warming and the ice packs at the ends of this planet were shrinking it could have been for only one reason in my mind. The earth as a spear had accumulated more ice on its poles and thus the Earth had tipped in fashion so as the polar caps were aimed towards the warmth of the sun and thus susceptible to the effects we saw. If one is in doubt and is willing to question my theory I have a simple question for them. Anyone who has gone to school here in Wisconsin has learned about the great glaciers that once covered this state. With that having been pointed out I ask you this. Was it mankind and his factories and cars that made those massive fields of ice to melt and recede from what is now Wisconsin? Or is it safe to say there was a more natural cause for these events? My answer to them is this It is all part of the great design of what is and always has been God's plan. I also say it does not hurt us to recycle and make every effort to keep our air and water clean.

As Christmas draws near allow me first of all to wish one and all a wonderful love filled Christmas.

With that my thought of today as it revolves around the lack of true belief one tends to see in our world today.

I am usually more ashamed of how we allow our belief in the Holy Trilogy to be push back into the middle ages if not further. As it has been for many years we have turned the other cheek and at the same time failed to stand up and say to the world. I am a Christian! A follower of Jesus Christ the son of God who was born for my sins and has redeemed my soul by cleansing it of those sins. It is as if the average Christian is ashamed to be one and thus not willing to stand up to those who can not or will not accept the Lord our God and his Son Jesus Christ.

As we move forward into this New Year let us fully reflect upon ourselves and what we desire to see in our world. Are we willing to sit back and let they who do not believe to push into the shadows. Or are we going to say to those who we elect the time is now You are either a Christian or an acting Atheist. As a Christian we fully expect and demand that anything you do is done with a love of God His Son Jesus Christ and for the love of your fellow man with the same good Christian beliefs as our country was founded upon.

May God guide us through our roughest times hear our prayers for peace and the ability to worship Him and His Son in the same Fashion as our country was founded without persecution for being a TRUE CHRISTIAN.
