 Thought # 241 revisited

Thought # 241 revisited

Of all the demons that one will encounter in one’s life. Anger is the one that is most often allowed into one’s heart.
At first after I was told by a few others that anger could not be a demon as stated in the comment below. I have given this thought some time to grow couple with some reading as well. So therefore we now have Thought # 241 revisited as follows. Thank you Rosie for your submitting your thoughts as well!

Anger is not a demon. If that were so then Jesus would have been controlled by one in the temple. Anger is a natural emotion. Depending what you do with it will determine who's
hands you've allowed your self to be in.

It is true Jesus showed some anger as he went through the temple releasing the sacrificial animals and birds coupled with his tipping over the money exchanger’s tables. This however was not the type of anger that is being thought of when I refer to anger as a demon. To think of it as a natural emotion in the case of what Jesus did in the temple. The answer would be yes Jesus responded to his discovery of his father’s house being defiled in the mannerism it was with anger. An anger that came out of his Love for his father, and his father’s temple! An anger that was more of compassion than anything else! A compassion; meant to teach those present and the future generations the temple as well as today’s churches were then and are today places of prayer. Not to be used to make a living from those who come to worship. The use of the Temple and any church as a market place tends to defile its holy domain if done as they were doing it. Had they been outside of the Temple they would have been left alone to make their living. As it was they were not serving God alone they were serving a second master more at the time. The master known as the desire of and for money. “It is said you can not serve two masters at one time”.

As far as any demon being in control of Jesus to believe there was even a chance this could happen would be to show a lack of faith within him as even Satan could not tempt him as he wondered in the wilderness.

As far as Anger being as a compassion! Anger is just that until it is fully allowed into your heart and kept there for whatever reason one feels such a need is required. It is then that Anger has grown into the demon that it can be. I say this as Anger is now in possession of at least part of your soul as you have allowed it there while forgetting the teachings of Jesus. Love thy neighbor as yourself. Do onto others as you desire to have done to you. Forgiveness is divine. Keep these beliefs in mind and you will not have to deal with Anger as a demon only what anger as a compassion has brought into your life.

 Thought # 245

245. They who supply the labor so that the family will have food, clothing and a roof over their heads have an obligation to Christ and their family to do what is right for their families. Thus they must insure what is needed at home is taken care of first. Remember the needs are to be taken care of not the wants. Christ knows of your needs and of your wants. After the needs of home are taken care of Christ asks that you then give him a hand to aid the less fortunate that still have needs to be attended at home. Do this prior to gaining your wants.

 Thought # 244

244. The congregation must learn to be willing to be part of itself and continue to work together teaching the youth the ways of Christ.

 Thought # 243

243. The elders of today’s churches must learn to act for and of the congregation, for the congregation as Christians is the church itself. The building is not the church yet it too should be maintained as the congregation maintains the church.

 Thought # 242

242. If one is to believe that someone was or is seeking to destroy the church. Then they are of the belief that man can destroy Christ, for Christ is the church and all who believe in him are also of him in his church. There is only one that I know of with the power to destroy something as powerful as the church and I highly doubt God will do that. Those who refuse to accept Christ yes, he will destroy, those who fully accept Christ no. The question is which one are you or is each of us?
I know where I stand!
